Conure owners please respond

I was curious as to which type of conure was the most popular. Which type(s) have you had & what were their personalities like?

I have a male sun counure. I searched everywhere till I found him and believe it or not he was with in 10 miles of my home. Sometimes they are just hard to find. He was 12 weeks old when I brought him home and we have had a few fights till I I taught myself how to take care of him and control him. Conures will try to control you and will drive you crazy if you allow them to and if you are not smarter then the bird is.

This November he will be 2 years old and he has been saying his name for about a year and a half. He tells me good morning and hello and nite nite. He can say moma come here and he can yell so loud that you can hear him outside the house. He will hang upside down from the sugar cane when I clip it to his cage and try to chew it off. He plays so hard he will fall off his toys. He has run of the house and ropes hanging off his cage to he can get around. He tries to bite the cat every chance he gets. And he flirts with my girlfriend and plays rough with me. He is potty trained to go back to his cage and he will let you know it is time to go potty. He loves to climb inside my shirt and put his back on my chest and hang onto the collar of my shirt with the top of his head on my chin while we mow the lawn.

Great birds but they will chew holes in your shirts and with one chomp tear a hunk out of the window shades or could easily bite a small child's finger off. My sun loves both my lady and me, and will pick some of our friends to go to. But most people he will bite and bring blood.
