I agree with..".they are alive and living with Elvis". Do you know Elvis is alive and lives in Collingwood, Ontario in August.but I haven't seen his Dodo.

I`ve seen one yesterday, working on the meat counter in morrisons supermarket. he seemed a bit shy but served me eventually.

Think they are gone. They are found on an island that has been thoroughly explored, and since they are flightless birds it is not easy for them to fly away and hide, and not much habitat left for them to hide in. We did rediscover the Ivory-billed Woodpecker, but they were in an area that was not explored well due to harsh environmental factors, a boggy marsh area that could only be explored by boat, and woodpeckers can fly away, and hide inside tree cavities. I wish there were more Dodos left..but I really doubt that there are.it has been too many years without a sighting.
