Do you think it is cruel to keep birds in cages2007-11-24 17:20:06

I think it is a primitive, hideous practice that should be made illegal. Open the door and what does it try to do? It obviously knows where it wants to be.

Yes, they were born with wings to fly and roam free, that's where they should all be, in the skies flying. I love birds, but I don't need to own one to appreciate them.

no it isn't cruel becuase you must keep them in cages to look after them and feed them,becouse if you let them to fly out of there cage they wiil fly out of your house and escape.and if you see that it's a cruel way open the door for them in a locked room and leave them fly for an hour or two and put them again in the cage make this every two days trust me

Well, as a owner, treat it good and birds wouldn't want to leave their home.

But, as a owner, in order to ensure it wouldn't fly around and mess up things, it is the best to put it in its cage.
