i wil answer in three parts.#1a good windtight and fairly warm chicken house. #2 adequte nutriton. ask your feed store they can help. clean tablescraps are ok too. and #3 really importent, keep a fifty watt light bulb on i their roost house twenty four hours a day. this is critical!! chickens lay ,and get broody acording to the length of daylight hours. you 'short out' this by providing longer periods of light in their daily cycle. this is work, but it will pay you back soon in egg production
