I have a Parolette, Pocket Parrott Any one know there nature

need to know his origion, longevity, etc.

I have a Pacific Parrotlet. They originate from South America. Parrotlets make great pets.they are intelligent and big parrots housed inside a tiny little pocket sized package. They are loving little birds. They are are bold and fearless and very territorial and they males have the ability to speak a limited vocabulary.

Their diet should consist almost entirely of fresh seeds and fresh fruits and veggies. They've recently discovered that they do not do well on pellet only diets, although you can offer a small amount of a good quality pellet.

Good luck with your pint sized parrot. Take care of him and he will live many years.

Never heard of them before but they look like fun.
