probably not. you'll want to get another cage and sit them next to each other for awhile. finches can be violent, believe it or not, when they don't like each other! and the females can be especially picky--so don't endanger your new little guy's life--let them get to know each other first!

no get another cage and sit them next to each other so they can get acclimatised to each other as putting them together can be stressful and they may fight after a week or so (judge on how they interact next to eqach other) then cage together
No keep them close but seperated for a few days until they are used to each other the introduce them.
Don't see why not!
Never, ever put them in the same cage right away. The guideline is to keep the new bird quarantined for at least a month to make sure it has no illnesses. Place the cages next to each other after that time period and watch to when they are perching at the side of the cage closest to each other. Then introduce the new bird.
Put them straight into the cage together, i have zebra finches and i did exactly that and i now have 5 babies. Good luck!
You should get him prepared - how are you as a fluffer?
no. wait until they are both mature enough
try the message board at www.cockatielcottage.net they answer all bird questions
No !! the trick to getting them aquainted with eachother is put the new bird in another cage and set it next to the other cage (very close) then they can check eachother out for a few days and if they seem as if they are getting along ok ( not quarreling with eachother) you have a match ! then you can put them together ..
Sure! Go ahead. I have 7 used to be like 11 finches. I do it ALL of the time. Do you think anything happens? NO! The only thing that happens is that they accept each other and if there is a nest in there they will have babies. Zebra finches are not aggressive birds so don't worry about it. Also, i am selling zebra finches. If you live above denver, in colorado, near the border then email me at hotsparks911@yahoo.com I will not metion what city by the way. Good luck!
I say try them at first they may be alright if not then try and get them acclimatised to eachother by puttin them in seperate cages right next to eachother and keep re-introducing them in monthly or so stints! But beware they may never get along, just like any other animal. but try them together first as u may find yourself shellin out on another cage for no reason at all!
Get another cage and put the cages next to each other so they get to each other, it needs to be a gradual process
