If they reproduce, what are you going to do with the offspring? And if they have babies what are you going to do with those? And so on, and so on.
I simply don't think home breeding is a good idea because of the danger involved, and the results are more birds, something the world of Aviculture doesn't need right now. I have a friend who had a problem with egg binding in one of his birds and was up for 2 days dealing with it. It scared him to death and he was unsure if he was going to lose her. It worked out okay but the stress was tremendous.
On petfinder.com there are currently 18 listings for multiple finches needing homes.
There are 223 lisitngs for multiple cockatiels, 74 lisitings for muiltiple Budgies, 65 listings for Amazons.the list goes on and on.
Adding to the problem by producing more finches is, well, adding to the problem.

i think it depends the age of the two finches. if they are both relativley young then there is a possiblity.
make sure you research the proper instructions you should follow to ensure that they will be ok

Yes they can breed depending on the age of the birds and if they decide they 'like' each other well enough. They sound like an interesting hybrid. Generally the hybrid bird is frowned upon by the 'Bird Society' and value in many situations will drop. There may be a problem for the young as there is a very strong chance that they will not be able to mate successfully.

yes it is very posible that they will depending on how old they are and depending on how long they have been together for
probably not. Very few cross the species boundry.or if you do find eggs, they may not be fertile anyway.
