I have two parakeets and seperated them for fighting, and now they want to be together, what should2007-11-24 17:22:47Answers:

I would trty letting them spend time together out of a cage first.. out on the counter top or elsewhere . see how that goes.. then if its ok let them have short periods with each other in 1 cage. and so on

But if they are pecking and feather plucking each other then forget it..

It could be they are wanting to get together to fight some more!

How do you know that they want to be together?

Maybe they want to get back together just so that they can fight again.

Are they fighting badly (pecking, bleeding, pulling out feathers, etc.), or are they just chasing each other around, "play fighting"?

Try putting them back together, and see what happens. If they start fighting again, separate them, and maybe talk to your vet to see if there is anything that you could do.
