I need to find a foster home for my Yellow collared Macaw in the the Chicago Burbs2007-11-24 17:22:29
I have searched the net for sanctuaries and have no luck with the ones I found. This is a tempororary situation for a year of two.
Answers:Well since you have searched the web and havn't found anything..why don't you call your vet( assuming that you have one) and ask hiim/her if they know of anyone that will "foster" your Macaw in your area. If that don't work maybe you can find a friend or someone to care for your macaw.

If you go to yahoo groups and go to cockatiels, there are people their that have tons of bird. They may be able to help you. It's Strictly-cockatiels. They help with other birds besides cockatiels.
