Could they have internal weakness from being a sickly batch that could carry on into the future--But look healthy enough in the begining.

They are about (I think) 15 wks old and being handfed and readied to purchase. They usually keep them about 2 wks or more until they deem them mature and healthy enough. It was about two weeks ago that the fiirst two died. I would not even know if others from that batch had died before reaching the store. The others are still little but with most of their feathers and seem healthy.

Answers:

Most handfed baby birds die due to mishandling. How warm is the formula, did it burn them? Is it too cold and they can't digest it? Are they being kept at the proper temperature and humidity. Are they getting lots of love? Birds are above all flock animals and do not do well if lacking in companionship.

Yes, they are at risk, though as they age, the risk should go down. Young birds are weak, just like human babies, and that's why there's four to six eggs in a "clutch". It's nature's way of making sure that at least one of them survive.
yeah, they will have a chance of not living because they will have more chances of getting sick and will be weak.
