Answers:It' all relative. Everyone hears it differently. I've heard that birds have regional dialects. That rooster sounds like he has a worm in his beak. Tell him to spit it out and try it again.
I think some of those Mocking Birds are faking it, just making it up as they go.

That's just how we choose to write the sound. Similarly, cat's don't actually sound like "meow" and dogs don't go "bow-wow." I think roosters sound like :
