Is a Raven and Crow the same
It's technically yes and no. Ravens and crows make up many individual species in the genus corvus, but birds were scientifically classified by appearance before much was known about genetics, so many kinds of birds are called different things, but are now found to technically be the same. Ravens and crows -- just like doves and pigeons; or finches and canaries -- are categorized as different species for pretty superficial reasons, and there's no real taxonomic distinction between them. Ravens are usually larger than crows, and they have more angular bodies.
You can find a similar situation in doves and pigeons, which are thought by most to be totally different, but are really only different sizes of species in the family columbidae.
Same family, but Ravens are bigger
no but same family,,,
No Ravens are bigger & more volcal
No they are not the same. The Raven is larger than the crow yet they are similar in appearance.
According to my daughter, Raven is a black girl from a show called "That's so Raven" and a crow is a black bird.
