well.. i have one and she is the sweetest bird she naps with me and cleans the house with me and as far as birds go they are fairly easy.i also have an afican grey and he requires alot more time and cleaning.but the sun conure is one of the noisest/loud birds even though small.VERY LOUD! but i love my nacha bird :)even with alot of attention they scream!!

yes they are,, all Birds are easy to care for all you have to do is keep they cage clean and seed clean up off the floor plus change water every day are went dirty,, and please play with your sun conure every change you get they like alot of love and talk to him or her take care and have fun with your new pet thanks Sara

sun conures are the sweetest birds..IF you are a bird person, and can make the commitment to them. they need at least an hour a day of attention. and they need expansive food and lots of toys. If not you will have screaming issues, and your experience will not be enjoyable.

Any bird that is as intelligent as a conure needs to have time and training.. they can be a member of the family, they can talk, they love to play.

but you have to teach him. or all you will have is a pretty. noisy bird in a cage!

You should buy a book. you can get them at the pet store specificly for conures, that will tell you all about their feeding and care. and other requirements..

yes they are as long as you can give them alot of time. 0 percent of there time needs to be out of the cage otherwise they get louder and louder till they get your attention.
