Just wondering or should i get another female?

Answers:

They may mate & kill the odd male.

I don't know what kind of birds you are referring to.

Finches are pretty nasty customers. We have one male pecked to death, becuase the other male had mated with one of the females.

Unless you are breeding, I don't know whay you would even want a matched set.

Your gonna need to seperate the males. They will start to fight over the female. It's called a packing order, you can have several females, but no more then one male.

I have 7 parakeets, 2 of them are female. In the book I have it says that you can have more males then females. I dont know if your birds are like mine, but the females are always the ones with a problem. the males get along great with eachother and try to get along with the females, but it is on the female birds terms. Kinda sounds like another species I know : )
