budgies can go through a second molt in about 6 months after the first molt but i would ask the vet for advice. Call just to ask if she needs veterinarian attention so it won't cost you a pointless trip if she ends up not needing any medical attention. She may be feather picking from boredom, it could be mites, and it could also be a variety of other ailments. But it could also just be a normal molt so i would call the vet and describe her symptoms. hope things work well! =]
ask the vet
ur not a gud owner .. u bloody animal killer
This is a normal range to have another moult. Some bird moult twice or three times a year depending on the living condition, having aircon/heater in the house with a budige can cuase them to moult more often. If where you live it's spring now, this is a the normal time to moult in the wild.
But if your are at all worried a call to your avain vet would be a good idea.
it might be stressed and could be pulling its own feathers out.
get it a feather sweater.
