My friends African Grey Parrot got a lump under his beak

He got a piece of seed suck down inside his beak, It was removed and he was given injections, To stop any infections, But the lump is still there, It seems to change size, Its a pink colour, but it does`t seem to bother the bird.

When they first had the african grey there was a gap at the bottom of his beak, but now you can`t see that, because thats where the lump is.

We would be greatful of any advise, As they are worried, to what it could be, As it happened so suddenly.

It sounds to me like his Vent was damaged. Your friend needs to get the bird into an Avian Vet to have the Vent cleared. If it is not taken care of in a timely manner, the bird could die.

A friend of mine just lost their Amazon Parrot from the same thing.

I am sorry to hear about the greys condition, Reading your words tells me the bird has been seen by a certified avian vet.

I would reccomend a return visit to the vets office.
