Theres a mother bird and its eggs eye level n a tree in my front yard2007-11-24 17:16:22

Theres a bird with 3 blue eggs in its nest, the nest is below eye level, and alot fo things are complicating it, what should i do?

Answers:

Be a nice person and find somewhere else to play - probably about 2-3 weeks until the birds hatch and leave the nest- if you don't, the mother will abandon the nest, or the baby birds will get scared and fly out too soon and will not survive.

dont touch the nest, or the mother wont come back because your scents on it... let it be nature is nature and sometimes it comes with complications
Well, you don't want to get too close. I have been told that if the mother bird smells a humans scent then they will abandon the nest and the baby birds.
What do you mean by complications? You should just leave the nest alone.
Maybe you should leave it alone, the bird should know what to do if it is disturbed enough times.
That is very nice. Do not touch the nest because mother will be mad. Also, my father has three piginos where he works and he feeds them every day. You should feed them too if it is possible.
It depends on what you mean by, "alot [of] things are complicating it"

I think that the best thing to do is to try to let the bird be, just because there is a nest below eye level doesn't mean it must be destroyed. The bird built its nest there, so try to keep the bird, the 3 eggs, and the nest intact until the birds hatch, which is coming soon, then you could even video tape their development.

There was a site that track two eagle chicks as they grew and started to fly, and that was popular. It isn't eagle eggs, but it would still be neat to try that.
