is true or false that if u touch a baby bird its mom will not take care of it anymore?

Answers:

This is false!!! It has been proven by research that the mother bird will not abandon her babies. Please do not try to attempt it but if it happens then No she will not abandon it.

IF THE BABY BIRD IS WILD THEN IF YOU GET YOUR SCENT ON IT THE MOTHER BIRD WILL REFUSE IT. BUT I DO NOT THINK IT IS TRUE II THINK IT IS RETARDED
It depends on whether or not the bird is domesticated, but if you are constantly holding/touching a wild bird, the mother will feel like she is being bugged, and might leave, I would suggest that if it is wild, you should not touch it.

Hope I helped & good luck

:)

when i was a kid i didnt know about the scent thing , i used to have a birds nest next to our bus stop , and i checked on the babies daily, eventually momma, and babies got used to me being around, and even got to the point where they would land on my shoulders while waiting for the bus..
it depends. it'd be safer and better to just not try. i'd leave them alone just so that they have someone to take care of them.
False.

Unless you are dealing with a Vulture!!!

The truth is that, except for vultures, all birds have a very poor sense of smell and will NOT leave their young just because they smell you there or that you touched their babies.
