I Breed Ringneck Doves & It Dep. On The Age Of Your Dove, If You Found A Young Bird, Sorry To Say Humans Don't Have Much Luck With Them, But If S/he's Older I Feed Them Parakeet Seed & Game Bird Starter Crumbles 50%-50% (You Can Find It At Feed Stores For Farm Animals, It's Ment For Quail Ect.) Mine Are Not To Crazy Over Sunflowers.

Make Sure To Buy Grit For Him Or Her Too.

Also Check Your Towns Laws, Some Places You Can't Have Them, They Also Like To Be Around Other Doves.

Also Doves Are Not Homers They Should NEVER Be Releast, Only Pigeons Can Find There Way Home, Doves Will Not Fair Long In The Wild After Being Kept As A Pet.

They Can Live 15 Years & Start To Breed At 6 Months, Their VERY Good Mothers & Fathers, They Lay 2 White Eggs At A Time, Which Takes 18 Days To Hatch & They Can Be Kept In More Then Just Pairs, I Have 7 Together In One Cage.
