they are five days old, and im just looking for something more they can eat, more of their favorite food, they only eat a little bit, any ideas?
Answers:Don't baby birds eat partially-digested food regurgitated from the stomach of a parent bird?
I guess you should eat what Geese might eat, and then upchuck a bit so the goslings can eat out of your mouth?
Soaking bread in a small amount of milk, or even some water, tearing small bites at first. You can hand feed them, but this is harder to wean them from doing so. Go to a feed store and get some starter feed ..no antibiotics in the feed. Keep your goslings warm... and dry at first. I used a heating pad on low temp to medium. Be sure they stay warm up to 12 weeks. A wire cage big enough for two is nice, and instead of a heating pad use a light bulb, make sure they cannot burn themselves or touch the light bulb in any sort of way. Put a small plate of water down for them to drink out of and play in. Make sure the water is kept clean, ect.,. Be sure to feed them grass. You also can take them outdoors to get them to eat grass on their own. You can use oat meal dry.. so they can peck at it.
