What to do with the piogeons nest on my balcony2007-11-24 17:17:34

A couple of piogeons trying to build a nest on my balcony. Should I let them do it? Some say it is a good luck to have them pick you to have their family. Any advice?

Yes leave them alone n let them keep building their house. They r gonna bring peace to you. It's a common belief some where. But you'd better watch out their "output"!

that would be great let them get on with it you will enjoy it if you can ignore the poo i would wash the poo away tho for health reasons if it gets on balcony

NO filthy birds. Remove it and continue to remove it all the time.

Do no allow any nesting materials. Do what you must but do not allow them there.

Can you get some netting at the store, this will stop them from lading on the roost. They will get your message and soon find a new place.

don't do anything that could disturb it give it egg food and make it feel at home until the chicks fledge and are able to fly then shoo em away or if you don't want to shoo them give them food daily!

i like the sound of birds... but not the really noisy ones. pigeons aren't noisy to have around.

if you generally like birds, keep them. and just like what has been said, you have to do some daily clean up. but you have some good benefits.. they'd probably eat baby snakes.
