Whats wrong with my budgie : ( :(2007-11-24 17:26:15

Good on you for taking her.

It is obvious that something is wrong, but what?

You say you think she was fine the night b4?

Hmmm, Was she fed any avocado? This will cause poisoning.

Is there smokers in your house? If she is is this will be toxic to her.

Was there any aerosole cans sprayed in her area?

Did anyone when they cooked food, burn a teflon pan?

All these things will cause sickness, and can cause death in birds, especially avocado.

Was it particularly cold? winter where you live?

Does she have a warm box to sleep in?

Its really hard to say, birds can be so difficult to diagnose, especially when your not an avian vet.

I hope your little girl is ok.

Does it live with another bugie because if it does it could be egg bound you could try asking people on this website www.ff3.co.uk its a bird forum and there always happy to help.

it may be old age. if its not an aviarian vet i dont think hes going to be able to do much about your keet. he will probably send you to the aviarian vet.
