Whats wrong with my chicken
Well my rooster has been acting strange he keeps fall down and hes easy to catch. Hes gotten really skin. I've fed him chicken food and bread. I thought maybe he had some little flea looking bugs like all my chickens get so i spray him with some stuff to kill them if they were there. But nope nothing seems to help. Hes been like this for a few days now. This happened to another one of my chickens and he died the next day. This rooster is with two females.
Answers:Sounds like your rooster could have a bad case of worms.You may try giving him some wormer medicine.Your local feed store should carry a couple different brands and could most likely recommend what they have heard works best.In it weakened condition you may also wish to consult a local vet.
MAYBE HIS CHICKEN IS GETTING CHOCKED TOO MUCH?
Worm him, and also isolate him from his hens in case whatever he has is contagious. Chickens shouldn't really have bread, all they need is layers pellets.
I might also put this rooster on some terramyacin as he might have an infection due to high parasite levels. The terramyacin is available at most feed stores and is put into the water.
