When do baby ducks mature, and get feathers2007-11-24 17:17:40Answers:
in about a week the wing feathers should be starting to change and then it just continues. It takes probably about a full month - a month and a half to get all of the adult feathers in.
Their feathers start to grow in and the fluffy down disappears within one month.
First to the middle of July..
They should have all their first feathers by 12 weeks old.Their secondary or adult feathers normally replace their juvenile feathers by 6 months.Though a duck isn't fully mature till nearly two years old.
