Where can I find baby chicks in my area Is there a website
I am trying to find some laying hens but I am not sure what stores usually carry the chicks. Anyone know?
Answers:Call your local feed store/ tractor store. If they don't have any they should be able to order them. Also look in your local paper there are always farmers trying to sell laying hens. You can get them for next to nothing from a farmer. Good Luck!
Go to a feed store. Where people buy hay cow feed chicken feed etc. If they dont have them they can get them for you
local feed stores and local farmers
Depending on where you are of course??
I have chicks ready to be hatched any day now. I just do it as a hobby. I do not eat them.

Both have a great selection of birds.
I have ordered birds from both places and gotten great results from both.
They will ship them to you live. They go to your post office and you can pick them up.
You can see all the birds over the internet and place your order right there on line.
Try asking at BYC - all really reputable people there, and when there has been a scammer they have always been weeded out before they managed to sell anything.
If you let me know what breed you want then I can help your further.
