Where can i get the cheapest parrots
Im thinkin bout gettin a parrot but dont have the money to spend like 1,000 bucks on one?
Answers:considering that any hooked bill bird can be and is classified under the Parrot catagory might I suggest that you pick up a cockatiel or a parakeet? The desire to own a bird such as a macaw or a cockatoo or amazon must be overridden by the commonsense that I am sure you have in the fact that you have asked the question that you did. I no doubt believe that you would make a fine owner of a bird but you must start small. My first was a conure.(sun to be exact) and can i just say that thing was loud. and demanding, and loud did I mention that? anyway a bird can out live its owners and that needs to be considered when your looking into getting a bird. if you want inexpensive (not cheap) then look into the smaller birds conures keets and tiels parakeets and cockatiels start around 20.00 and conures start around 200.00 all are good birds for a first timer. if you insist on a big bird then amazons are great so are greys. macaws and cockatoos require slightly more work (oh and macaws and cockatoos can snap a mop handle in their beak) Good luck!
Find a bird sanctuary. They are usually almost free, and there are a lot that need a good home.
They are not usually that high. Check Petco They usually have some for around $300 or so.
