Well Amanda that's a great question. Did you think of it yourself??
My belief is that blue t!ts are baby pigeons. I mean how often do you see these 'magical, mystical' creatures called baby pigeons? Never is the answer!
On the night when the clocks go back in the Autumn, blue t!ts undergo change in an instant, just like Gremlins. They turn into these ugly pigeons. This is why you will never see a dead blue t!t, because by the time they die, they are tranformed into pigeons!
they are still about i'm sure!
maybe they morph into robin red breasts to confuse us!!
I don't know - do they migrate south?
During the winter they often join other species of woodland birds in large, loose flocks which move through the woods. This is because originally they were woodland birds. They start looking for nest boxes readily, and these should be put up by the end of February.
T i t s often stay where they are. If you put a bird feeder in your garden away from the house you should start to see them during winter. There is so much food about this time of year and in the winter they will go away to where there is food so have some nearby and you will see them. Hope this helps 脺
