Where should you take hurt wild birds
i found two birds that flew into our building today and was lost on what to do... i wanted to help the poor birds because i could see that they were really hurt and probably in much pain, but i didnt know who to call and i was NOT going to just let them suffer. can you please give me advise on who i should look up next time? i ended up dropping them off at a nearby vet but i dont think they specialize in birds.
(i live in houston)
p.s.
my heart was broken to see them so hurt (one was twitching its head backwards) and i didnt want to just drop them off at the vet but i didnt know what else to do because im still new here. i cried so much today for them... please be serious with your responses.
gracias

a community house or vet
You should take a big glove(so it doesn't hurt if they bite you) and call the local animal shelter and see what they can do!
You may want to find out who your local area wildlife rehabilitators are and keep the informatino handy for the next time.

Please talk to your work about putting up some stickers on the windows to distract the birds from hitting the windows.
