Why do Canada geese make so much noise when flying
It is a form of communication.
the geese follow the others by sound I believe.
i keep thinking it's just to annoy me, but really,i think that i read that it's to help they stay all together in a group
I believe it is like "click sonar" to a point. They omit a loud honk, and it bounces back telling them if there are any other birds in the area which they do not see. It also helps them form the formation they fly in.

Even during hunting season, if there are other homes nearby, you probably
can't go after them. MAYBE with a bow & arrow, certainly not with a rifle,
probably not with a shotgun. Contact the local fish & game people and ask
them about this. Even a slingshot is controlled by hunting laws,
unfortunately. I'm not sure if a slingshot with gravel in it, designed
