He killed her about 2 weeks after starting to attack her.
Answers:He was trying to mate with her but she wouldnt have it,the roosters get very aggressive when mating and will pluck the feathers out of the female trying to hold them still, maybe she was sitting on eggs already and didnt need to mate??
You can get your roosters spurs removed to make them less dangerous.
