Will my 20 month old daughter get sick from eating parakeet food2007-11-24 17:27:43

It just spilled all over the floor

Answers:

well that is only some seeds however you should take her to a doctor just to check it out but bird food is just a bunch of seeds. But sometimes they put pesticides in bird food so be care full

i dont think so but id still call the docter
Probably not, if it is safe for another animal to eat and approved by the FDA then I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on her.
Probably not.
no, Unless She Ate Any Crud That Was On The Floor With It.
She will probably not get sick.little one's put a lot of stuff in their mouths.just monitor her.if she starts flapping her wings and tweeting I would call a doctor.lol.just kidding.just watch her like normal.if she starts to throw up or something.see your doctor.hope your parakeet has enough food left.
No. This will one one of many more to come.

Relax.

I don't think so, unless she has trouble eliminating it..
I urge you to use extreme caution. It is difficult to know what additives might be in pet food. Furthermore, given that young children seem compelled to put everything in their mouths, it is nearly a given that she will do so if it isn't picked up. Another concern could be if she aspirates it, meaning she sucks it down her windpipe into her lungs rather than swallowing it. The best advice is to pull out the vacuum and do a thorough job of it. I'm sure you planned on that anyway. ;-)
