Yes it is 1 cup of sugar to 4 cups of water. It is best to make your own, the stored bought stuff is more expensive and the red dye in it is bad for the hummingbirds. Also, make sure you change it about once weekly, maybe more if it is espcially hot out as the sugar water can ferment and literally get the hummingbirds drunk and it could kill them. Happy birding!
