low but not too low they have good hearing if you want them to talk than put on people talking if you want music do a rainforest cd
Very softly.Birds have great hearing.A talk radio show is best.Or,if you have a continuous playing CD player or Cassett player,play bird sounds.They will think they are surrounded by their own kind.
I have a Sun Conure also, but I don't leave the radio on for him. He always acted scared because he heard noise but didn't know where it was coming from. Typically if they have a lot of toys to play with they won't get bored, I personally though don't feel that he needs a radio going, and he always acts funny when I leave it going by himself in the room. But if you do plan on doing it, I would leave it very softly, and I would put it on music, as hearing a talk show might freak him out since he hears human voice but doesn't see one, but maybe its just my bird who knows!
