i would feed it to a snake. I don't really think they are very trainable birds. you need to research for a more trainable bird maybe a amazon,African Grey, or even a conure but a parakeet is a lost cause i would think.

Clicker Training is the best. First give the clicker to the bird, and let it play around with the clicker 4 a while. Then click the clicker and give the parakeet the treat so it knows that the click sound means a positive reaction. THen when U see the bird do a desired command, click the clicker, say the command, then give him/her a treat.
