i have an incubator. but i do not no how to use it

in a incubator, if your talking about refrigerator eggs, forget it.

they need to be fertile to hatch..why don't you just by them already hatched. It sure would be alot easier..you can buy them through a local feed store.

Your incubator should have come with a manual. You should incubate chicken eggs at 100 degrees Farenheit and a certain humidity level which is around 50-55% and should be raised to about 60% during the last 3 days of incubation. The incubator should have small trays or troughs on the bottom to put water in to maintain humidity. Eggs should be turned twice a day (morning and evening) mark one side with a pencil(Do NOT use a pen or marker) so you can tell which side is which.

It takes 21 days for chickens to develop and start hatching.

I would do a search online for instructions for the incubator. There are different kinds and you need to get the specific instructions for yous. To get eggs to hatch you have to maintain proper temperature and humidity. The eggs need to be turned. Some incubators do the turning. With some you will have to do that yourself. Try using Yahoo's search engine, or one of the other one. Put in the manufacturers name and the model of the incubator that you have and see if you can find a customer service number or instructions. Good luck! it can be really fascinating to watch the chicks develop and hatch.
