Yes you should give them Plenty of CLEAN WATER, and Wheat Bread too. Also go to the pets store and buy some of the KAYTEE HAND FEEDING FORMULA and feed them that wet according to the box and feed it to them dry as well as a treat in a bowl. Make sure they have plenty of seed and millet spray you can buy at the pets store too. Really is worth the money buying those products to asure healthy parents as well as healthy chicks! Unless you want to hand feed them you should probably leave them alone. The mother knows what she is doing and meddeling can only cause problems.

Be sure to keep plenty of food around. The babies eat a Lot. My mommy bird has hatched out three groups of chicks. She will do fine if you don't bother her too much when the chicks are young and keep food and fresh water available.

Cuttlebone should be available to Mom and Dad. Scrambled eggs go to our birds, too. It's great for them. They carry lots of bacteria after only an hour, though, so make sure you wait until the chicks are a little older before introducing any to the parents. A safer alternative that you can use right away is egg food. You can find some on Foster and Smith for birds, online or in the catalog:
