I suggest Egg food and snack attack. Both are available at most bird stores or pet stores. Also have a calcium block available. If your birds don't eat the egg food you can also give them wheat bread. Caring about your birds diet isn't meddling, it's being a good pet owner. Keep up the good work.

All of my birds get fresh veggies such as broccoli slaw, corn, cucumber, baked sweet potato and spinach (but only twice a week because it inhibits calcium absorbtion). They also get a slice of whole wheat bread and spray millet and cooked couscous with oats, wheat germ and boiled ggs that have been grated. Every one gets some form of these foods everyday whether they are breeding or not. The cages that have babies get larger quantities of course.
