can 2 male parakeets be compatable?

Answers:

I'm assuming you mean "compatable" as far as friendship goes.in which case, the answer is absolutely! Just make sure that if you are getting a new male parakeet that you first keep him in a seperate cage from your existing parakeet until you are confident that the two of them get along well enough to share one cage. (Also be sure to quarantine your new parakeet before letting him have any contact with your current parakeet) Once they seem to interact with each other well outside of the cage, then allow them to share the same cage, but watch for any signs of serious aggression (some small spats of "beak boxing" as I like to call it are to be expected with any pair of birds). Yes Budgie Parakeets are very social. If one was in the cage before the other one, it might become a little territorial which is common.

Absolutly. I had 2 males that got along better than a male and a female I had. They're not like roosters.
