i will like to buy a bird but i want one that has some melody not annoying
Also, when you do get a new bird, consider getting one from a bird rescue, these are like animal shelters. They'll often be cheaper than from pet stores, they're usually in better health, and the people there can give you more informed advice about how to best take care of them. Another piece of advice for when you get the new bird, is quarrantine it from your old birds for at least a month. You don't know if the new bird might have a hidden illness, so keep it in a separate cage in a separate room with a closed door between them, for at least 30 days.
Good luck!
Cockatiels are usually quite and when they actually do sing its not too annoying. They are extremely friendly and eventually just become part of your family. Their easy to maintain and not so expensive. Also they stay pretty small. And can actually be taught songs and words. Definitely think about them.
I'm thinking beanie baby for you.
You didn't say what happened to the parakeet. If you got rid of it because it annoyed you, then please don't get another bird. They are not trinkets to be enjoyed for a short amount of time and discarded.
