hi i just got this parrot and is realy angry when u look at it goes mad, it came from a good home. i had to give my other parrott to my sis cuz it was gettin upset with the angry one. its in one of the biggest cages u can get i am realy good with pets, my house is very loving not noisy and i pay it loads of attention. what can i do ? its a african gray

Since African Grays are very intelligent. I can understand where he is coming from. He may had loved his other home and owners very much and now that he is no longer with them he is angry that is not unusal. Many people just don't understand how a bird feels and that they can show their emotions.

I have 4 African Grays 1 of which was a rescue, he lived 20 years in a basement. When I got him he was beyond angry and I took some stitches over his anger. It took me 8 years to break though to this little guy, and for the past 2 years he has become my best friend. He had to learn on his own that he was loved and that the other owners would never own him again. I am not saying that your Parrot will never learn to love you but it will take some time for him to get over his anger.

If you would like to have some more help with his behavior please let me know. I can offer you some tips and tricks to breaking though.
