the only thing I can guess, if it is her first time laying eggs, they

can have a very strange habit of abandoning their eggs, they even let newborn babies die cause they can't figure out what to do with them..

.she'll figure it out sooner or later..also she may be laying more eggs..

mother nature is very strange sometimes.I've had birds never sit on their eggs, and I have to give them to a foster mother.

i would suggest if the female is not ill the eggs must have gone past the due hatch date and she has abandoned them,she may throw them out.
