there is a bunch of peregrine falcons that have moves into town and i was wondering why they would do that??

They're starting to re-release peregrine falcons in some rural areas. They tend to like the buildings as good perches and nest-building sites, and there's all sorts of yummy rats and mice and various and sundry other items of prey to be found.

One time a peregrine falcon flew up my dryer vent and it was stuck in our laungery room for 10 minuets, so someone had to go in and open up the window, weird stuff.

you should contact someone in the biology department of the university closest to you, they will be able to answer your questions and be really happy to know that its going on. It could be because their habitat is disappearing or it could be that the habitat of a different bird has disappeared and driven them off. It could also be that the habitat of whatever their food was changed in some way and now they're gone so it has to move elsewhere and look for food meaning that maybe it is now successful in town. There are many possible reasons but contact the university.
