Parsley is good for them - plus it helps sweeten their breath! It's pretty cheap too. Make sure you get organic or wash off any pesticides well, though.

if all you can feed them is seed then make sure it is high quality seed.

The really need a well rounded diet which includes fresh fruit such as apple, pears and grapes. Not fruit seeds or Kiwi fruit. Also lots of veggies: corn, carrot, romaine lettuce or other one beside iceberg, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, endive, and dark green leafy ones. Mashed hard boiled eggs can be added to thei diet as well.

Chocolate

Avocado

Apple seeds (or any fruit seeds)

Onion

Asparagus

Cabbage

Kiwi fruit

I feed my budgies, budgie seed mix, grass, chickweed, egg and biscuit, spinach, dehulled oats, millet sprays, cuttlefish shells, seed treats, shell grit.

I occasionally feed them some fruit like grapes and fresh corn on the cob.

Mine aren't much fussed on fresh fruit so i try and give them other things that they will eat.
