As for fruits.they like apples ( no seeds) , pears, cherries, grapes, bananas, plums, dates, raisins, oranges, peaches, figs, melons, grapefruit, strawberries, blackberries, kiwi, papaya. They also like fruit juices and dried fruts.

For vegetables you can give them. alfalfa sprouts, bean sproats, sweet potatos, swiss chard, corn, spinach, carrots, kale, cauliflower, zucchini, pea pods, celery tops, Romain lettuce, broccoli, beets, beet greens.

All fruits and vegetables should be choped into small bite size pieces. And if you put them in their cage take them out after 4 hours.

Birds also LOVE sprouted seeds. if you dont know how to do it is soak some seeds overnite in water, then drain them and place them in a container with a damp cloth covering the mouth of the container. Let this sit in a dark cupboard for a day or two, and the seends should spout. Feed teh sprouted seeds before they start growing very much. If few seeds have sprouted after a day or two, it is and indication that the seeds are dead and are not very nutritious.

Remember.NEVER FEED YOUR BIRD AVACODO, CHOCOLATE, CAFFEINE, ALCOHOLE, HEAVILY SALTED OR GREASY FOODS!!

I'd like to add you should choose a bird food without or with very few sunflower seeds. They're addictive and have very little nutitional value when thats the only thing your bird will eat any more. Good luck
