that would repeat words back to us kids walking home from school, it would say "f--- you" and "screw you", it lived in a pen in someones back yard, my friends hat blew into its pen and it said to him, "F You!" and pecked apart his hat! my firend and i could hear the bird saying that as he ran home crying to his mommy!

I have heard Magpies can imitate very well, however no bird can actually SPEAK. They imitate and reproduce sounds that get a positive reaction. They learn to make these noises, however they are not conciously communicating with you.
