What is wrong with my parakeet? When she poops she poops she poops out a watery substance and then the poop in the middle of the water substance. Im really worried,She does also have a male with her in the cage ,i dont know if sh could have mated and thats what happens when they are about to lay eggs ,but its weird .

That's called "diahrea", like it is in people. TI's not serious (unless she stops drinking) but what is serious is the underlying cause. Birds don't get indigestion- there is usually a far more serious caus eof the diahrea.

There are three parts to a normal bird poop:

Part 1: Poop (faeces). this part should eb brown (may be greenin seed-only birds). Thje colour may change according to what they've eaten (blueberries make scary-looking poops that are actually normal). Red, bloody or loose stools are aBAD BAD BAD sign. The faeces should be well formed and firm.

Part 2: Urate. this is the "White stuff" It should be liquid, but slightly "creamy" in texture. If it is red, bloody, yellowed etc this is a BAD BAD BAD sign.

Part 3: The urine. This is normally colourless liquid. Yellow or red urine is a BAD BAD BAD sign.

If you bird is showing any of the listed bad signs or is missing a part of her "poops", take her to the vet RIGHT AWAY and include a complete blood count (CBC), graham stain and bacterial culture in the check up. THe extra cost will be worht your peace of mind- not to mention her health!

i have a parakeet, but she does not have a mate, but her 'poop' does not sound the same as my birds, maybe you can google this in vets somehow? I did find information about our hampster about 3 months ago by doing this search.
