she has a problem with her lower beak it starts with a blister type thing and then the beak is deformed she is about 10years old

go to the vet because even if you think you know what it is, vets are trained professionals and it is their job to accurately diagnose and treat any problems. Better safe than sorry.

I know a girl who had a cockortoo she had no problems
it may be scaley face which is treatable.but I would find a vet who specializes in birds. They are hard to find but you may want to consult your local avicultural society or Audubon society.or even a good pet store or breeder for a recommendation for a good vet. Cockatiels can live a long time mine are 13 and 22.so I would get her checked.she has a lot of life left.
Please take your Cockie to the Vet as it does sound like Scaly Beak. Poor bugger. It must be so unconfortable.
