What is the way to give the mercyful deth to the infected hens/birds suffring from bird flue or other conteginous infections?
Answers:I'm a government veterinarian. We are planning for bird flu in my country. If it happened the buildings would be sealed and filled with Carbon Dioxide gas. For smaller numbers of birds we have containers that are filled with Carbon Dioxide/Argon mixture. If there are just a few birds methods include injection with Pentobarbitone (anaesthetic) and neck dislocation.
what poison? you'll never know which bird is infected unless examine the cause of death. and once they found 1dead bird positive from H1virus they will burn all birds living nearby 1 or 2 kilometer in radius. killing these birds are already a big loss for the farm owner and the economy so why bother thinking another spending to find a way killing it with mercy. peace.
