nothing better to do I guess
they fly because they have wings to get them places.
Have you seen them walk, it looks pretty awkward.
So they can get away from predators and fly from place to place looking for food or nest supplies.
Well, do you mean why is it in their nature to fly? Well, it's actually quite simple and that's actually a very good question! Birds in the wild fly for several different reasons: One is to get from one place to another; they can't walk very fast and many times a bird has to travel far distances, such as when they migrate. Another reason is it's a great defense mechanism; birds aren't very strong and have very fragile bodies so flying is a great way for them to escape from their predators quickly.
They like it in the sky.
Because they can.
To show off and tease humans because we can't fly.
I have no idea. I want to be one. I wana I wana I wana!!
cuz they have wings and they use them.its just there way of escaping and transportation.
The question is same as "Why do you walk?"
why do you walk? it is their only way to get around
it's like your asking why do humans think? why fish swims? why cats walk? why else would those feathered creatures be called birds if they don't fly ?(except kiwi)
it takes to long to walk
