Cockateils require privacy to successfully raise their young. you will need to get a breeding box that attaches to the side of the cage. without this the parents will literally ignore the young. if you have this box already, you need to not disturb them. if you handle the young or open the box allot to look at them this will also cause the parents to ignore them. I don't specifically know why this happens but if your birds lay eggs and hatch them, them leave them alone. if this doesn't help you may just have pad parents. Not all birds are natural breeders even in the same species. once the chicks hatch, you may have to take over feeding them yourself with a syringe. Many professional pet stores can coach you on this technique.

How long has it been since they have looked aftered them? If it's been too long then you might have to take matters into your own hands and raise them yourself.

do they smell your scent on them? like a wild animal will always abandon the babies when there is that danger smell, but i would think your birds are quite tame, domesticated.

but too soon after birth the instinct is there, even a momma cat will move all her kittens to a new location and leave behind the only one that has a foreign scent.

she may be an imature hen that does not know how to feed a chick or they are disturbed by something.

same problem happens to me in case of parrots. they r reacting like this because they fed up. so if u want to make them careful of their babies so feed them properly and keep their cage cleanly..
